Idaho WWAMI Pre-Med Mentors Program

The goal of the Idaho WWAMI Pre-Med Mentoring Program is to provide a near-peer resource for undergraduate students preparing for medical school and to foster professional and beneficial relationships between WWAMI medical students and undergraduates at Idaho Universities. As a mentor, you will be expected to meet with an assigned mentee for at least one hour per month via Zoom, or in person if this can be done safely and feasibly. In addition, because the mentors program is a SLAC project, you will be expected to complete a brief reflection after each meeting.

Undergraduate students who participate in the mentors program may be from any university in Idaho. Students in their Junior and Senior year will be prioritized, as well as students from under-represented or disadvantaged backgrounds.

For further information about the Pre-Med Mentoring program, please see the General Guide for Mentors and to apply, click here. After you have applied, there will be a brief Orientation to the program, with details to be determined.

Any other questions please contact the student leads.
